Euchema isforme: formally Eucheumatopsis isiformis, is a rare species of sea moss grown wildly near barrier reefs in the Caribbean Sea. This type of sea moss contains natural iota-carrageenan which creates the fluffy consistency of the gel, compared to other sea moss strains that consist of kappa-carrageenan. This species of sea moss is delicious, mineral rich, and very gentle on the digestion. Our euchema isforme is wild & regeneratively harvested by our freediver 12 miles off the coast of Belize, then naturally sun-dried. This strain is an excellent choice for smoothies and to eat straight out of the jar!
